Team Management Profile
- What is the Team Management Profile?
The Team Management Profile is a rich development tool through which individuals and teams can learn more about themselves, their colleagues and their team. It provides an objective mechanism, which allows us to explore issues of individual style, interactions between team members and team effectiveness in relation to the task cycle.
- What does programme involve?
All participants are initially asked to complete a confidential questionnaire prior to attending a team workshop. The questionnaires are computer-processed and a 12-page feedback report produced. The profile provides objective feedback about an individual's work preferences, leadership strengths, decision-making, interpersonal skills and team building capabilities.
Participants then attend a one-day workshop within which they are helped to understand and interpret their individual profiles and to explore the profile and preferences of their team as a whole. The workshop will also invite teams to review their departmental objectives and consider how these might be most effectively addressed in light of their new knowledge.
Following the team workshops, a telephone feedback interview is usually carried out with staff to enable them to understand and interpret the detail of their personal profile and scores.
After a period of about 6 months, a further 1-day workshop is held to review the team's progress, explore how the team now sees itself and its current performance, explore its development needs over the medium term and plan development actions to secure stability and optimal performance for the future
