NVQ Level 4 Management
- What is the NVQ level 4 in management?
A competence based qualification for middle managers who have accountability for performance and responsibility for developing and implementing operational plans. The qualification is based on contemporary management theory and practice.
- What does the programme involve?
CMS offers a flexible approach to those wishing to be accredited with an NVQ. A plan to meet individual needs is negotiated and agreed prior to the start of the programme.
Candidates are supported by a personal adviser who provides guidance to ensure that the candidate is able to supply appropriate evidence of performance, personal competence and underpinning knowledge and understanding.
Attendance at a minimum of 4 advisory sessions is mandatory; each session being delivered to meet the needs and requirements of individual candidates.
Additional sessions may be arranged to build up a more intensive programme.
Candidates are able to choose to be assessed through Portfolio Review and Interview or Professional Discussion.
