- What does the programme involve?
The programme is modular based, requiring 21 days attendance at 10 individual modules of 2 or 3 day. Typically, the modules are delivered one per month, with the full programme taking approximately twelve months, from registration to certification.
The CMS Certificate in Training Practice uses an input based experiential style to develop individual understanding, supporting the translation of knowledge into skills to facilitate transfer into workplace activities. The programme content is designed to provide comprehensive coverage of the CIPD Professional Standards for this qualification
Competence is assessed through two written and two skills based assignments together with a significant work related project. This project must include original research, carried out in the workplace, to identify recommended solutions to an identified issue/problem.
